WHO WE ARE
We created Public Matter to exist at the intersection between culture and design. Rather than simply churning out one-off projects and calling it a day, we work with creatives and brands to find out who they are and how we can best showcase that to the world.
Our passion is to align our clients and their communities by connecting every element of their visual identity to their story. Working with us is not a transactional relationship. We’re building something together.
Our collective endeavors are dedicated to curating meaningful encounters for both physical and digital realms through the use of graphic design, websites, merchandise and more.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Creating a cohesive aesthetic allows consumers to subscribe to a world. All of our favorite brands are the best at this — they make us feel like we exist within their universe. When a brand creates a uniform aesthetic around their product, fans consequently become invested – emotionally and financially.
We believe that when you connect all aspects of your brand – you are creating a world for people to escape from their personal realities. This is the ultimate goal as a creative, and we think we’re the best at developing that gift with you.

THE TEAM
After being raised in southeast Texas, and graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas State University, Kelly quickly left the South for the West Coast in 2017. Like her hero Hannah Montana, she is a Music Coordinator and the Head of Business and Client Relations of Public Matter by day, while doubling as a kickass recording artist by night.
Wielding a noggin full of knowledge and irreversible trauma from the entertainment industry, along with her experience fronting bands, songwriting for other artists and producing her own records; Kelly understands storytelling and how to best cultivate the fan experience. Her ever-growing love for design is just a plus as she fronts all of Public Matter’s business endeavors.
